Job Description
 The controls systems engineering department has been created to manage the system aspects of the controls element of the subsea production control system

 Prepare the technical content of fixed price bids, budgetary bids and studies including clarification to technical tenders and represent the company with the clients

 Review technical requirements of tender enquiries and propose optimum subsea control system to suit and prepare technical offer for inclusion in bid

 Prepare responses to bid clarifications from clients, co-coordinating the input of others as required

 Attend bid clarification meetings, assisting senior systems application engineers with responses to technical queries raised

 Perform and manage study work received by the department

 Generate in Conjunction with the Project engineer the basis of design for awarded Projects

 Assist Project Managers and lead Project Engineer as the technical authority for the Project such that we build the system in compliance with accepted bid / company standards / and basis of design

 Ensure that each of the technical areas of the project communicate appropriately to ensure the timely execution of the project

 To provide control of changes through the course of the project

 Ensure that the Aker Solutions Project Execution Model Execution (PEM) is correctly utilized on the Project

 Ensure that all changes made in the later stages of a project (post PEM M3A gate) are properly reviewed and controlled
Desired Profile
Degree/HND/HNC in related discipline or equivalent5 to 10 years experience with engineering and construction of Controls projects for offshore and Subsea applications, Knowledge of specialist area of Subsea control systems and understanding of Mechanical / hydraulic and / or electrical systems Ideally applicant should have experience of working with Clients teams at all levels in the Pre Feed, Feed, bid and Project stages Must have an attitude that will get after problems until resolution
