Provide operations geology services for assistance in drilling the Belud East-1 appraisal well including:

·         Well planning and preparation of all mud logging, wellsite geology, formation evaluation and coring programmes and procedures which will be used during the drilling of the well.

·         Liaise with relevant service company personnel to ensure adequate resources and personal are assigned for the successful completion of the drilling and data collection programmes in the well.

·         Supervise the daily geological operations during the drilling of the well to ensure the well objectives are met in a safe and cost effective manner and in line with Hess procedures and protocol.  This includes responsibility for communicating with rig based personnel, liaising with the Hess drilling and subsurface teams, and communication of ongoing operations within Hess and with the JV Partners and govement agencies.

·         Co-ordinate the post well documentation including, but not limited to, production of composite and lithological logs, mud logs and end of well reporting.
